Oregon Independent Film Festival recent premiere events include new films from Nicole Kidman, Elisabeth Moss, Gillian Jacobs, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Kline, Charlize Theron, Benedict Cumberbatch, Laura Linney, Jude Law, Holly Hunter, Elle Fanning, Carmen Ejogo, Kumail Nanjiani, Colin Firth, Cheech Marin, Ashley Judd, Tilda Swinton, Tom Hanks, Christina Hendricks, Ray Romano, & Tom Hardy.
The fest has also hosted film premieres from acclaimed directors Trey Edward Shults, Charlie McDowell, Jason Stutter, Demetri Martin, Sion Sono, Michael Showalter, Jake Paltrow, Wes Anderson, Osgood Perkins, Noah Baumbach, Thomas Vinterberg, George Miller, & Nicolas Winding Refn.

With screenings in cinemas across Portland, Bend, Eugene, and various stops in towns all across the great state of Oregon.

The Oregon Independent Film Festival was created to help discover and showcase the best independent films. With curatorial emphasis on narrative dramatic films, documentaries and animation.
Our festival focus is also towards promoting the majestic state of Oregon as a travel destination for film lovers and supporting the fantastic cinema houses in our state.
OIFF ALUMNI UPDATE - TOAD ROAD
One of our earliest breakthrough hits, the low-budget horror film ‘Toad Road’ was picked up by Elijah Wood’s production company SpectreVision & soon received major distribution.
Director Jason Banker went on to direct the hit film “FELT”.

Oregon Independent Film Fest screenings have unveiled new documentaries on The Flaming Lips, screened the 'lost' home movies of Bob Marley, and debuted the ground-breaking documentary on child labor El Milagro.
All of which went on to wide acclaim & distribution.

Cult Horror midnight movie sensation ‘Motivational Growth” ended up taking the festival circuit by storm after premiering in Portland at the Oregon Independent Film Festival.
