Oregon Independent Film Festival News


This year the Oregon Independent Film Festival (OIFF) is bringing our collection of new independent films across Oregon again this year from September 14 - 30, 2015.


With festival screenings and events in Portland at The Clinton Street Theater and in Eugene at the Bijou and Metro cinemas, with more surprise screening stops to be announced.

The most recent Oregon Independent Film Festival featured over 75 films from over 14 countries, screened over two weeks in independent cinemas across the great state of Oregon USA.


OIFF Films Include:


The One I Love:

Struggling with a marriage on the brink of falling apart, a couple escapes for a weekend in pursuit of their better selves, only to discover an unusual dilemma that awaits them in The One I Love, starring Mark Duplass and and Elisabeth Moss.


31 Scenes About Nothing:

Thirty-One Scenes About Nothing is a voyeuristic film following a day in the lives of fifteen people.



A hilarious comedy about a disillusioned company man who has one day to save his career and not get dumped by his girlfriend while besieged on all sides by incompetent co-workers and a ruthless nemesis.

Narrated and Executive Produced by Oscar-winner Sean Penn, the film follows the high-stakes battle to protect our health from the thousands of untested chemicals in our everyday consumer products.


Well Now You're Here,There's No Way Back :

The amazing film Well Now You're Here,There's No Way Back tells the story behind the formation, rise, and rebirth of heavy metal band Quiet Riot and a surprisingly personal.

The Oregon Independent Film Festival is pleased to have our Portland, Oregon screenings at Cinema 21 & Clinton Street Theater, and to be hosted in Eugene, Oregon by the legendary Bijou Art Cinemas & new Bijou Metro Theaters downtown.
